Course Options
We offer two convenient options for completing the course. Both options also contain a blended learning component: Self paced, online session 4-8 hours depending on the individual.:
Five Consecutive Days – 40 Hours
Engage in an intensive five-day session to earn your full 40-hour Wilderness First Aid Certificate. This includes CPR C and AED training, as well as basic shelter construction skills.
Two Weekends
Weekend 1: 20-hour Remote First Aid (RFA): Lay the foundation with this initial weekend course.
Weekend 2: 20-hour Wilderness First Aid (WFA) Bridging Upgrade: Advance your skills and knowledge in the second weekend to achieve the complete 40-hour Wilderness First Aid Certificate, encompassing CPR C, AED training, and basic shelter construction.
Both options culminate in comprehensive certification, ensuring you are well-prepared for wilderness emergencies.
Special Course Discount
For those opting for the two-weekend format, we offer a special course discount. Use the code BRIDGEBUNDLE100 at checkout to save $100. Act now to secure your spot and take advantage of this valuable opportunity.
Important Note
If you choose not to enroll in the five consecutive days option, completing the 20-hour Remote First Aid (RFA) is a prerequisite for the Remote to Wilderness First Aid Bridging Course. You have one year from the conclusion of the initial 20-hour RFA course to upgrade to your final 20-hour Wilderness First Aid certification.
