Prevention, health and wellness of the group is a key focus. The course is taught in an outdoor setting and requires greater physical activity and endurance than typical first aid training. We also add basic shelter construction that is not part of the certificate!

Please ensure your Remote First Aid recertification is completed by attending a comprehensive RFA course to refresh your skills. It is mandatory for participants to present a valid RFA certificate upon registration and attend the entire program offering.

Kindly note that participants will receive an updated Field Guide during their recertification course, as the Canadian Red Cross has made revisions to the participant Field Guide in 2020. Our aim is to provide you with the most current procedures and information.
