Remote First Aid Recertification - Dawson Creek

Refresh your Remote First Aid skills and ensure you’re up to date with the latest techniques by completing our Remote First Aid Recertification course. This course is designed to help you stay confident in your ability to respond in remote or wilderness environments. This course comes with a Standard/Intermediate First Aid Certificate 🙂

• Schedule: 22 Hours
  • Online Pre Course Work: 4-8 hours, self paced through The Canadian Red Cross Website. Provided students register in advance, you should have at least 2 weeks to complete this component

• • Weekend Courses: Friday evening session* (typically 6-8 PM) + 2 x 10 hour days Saturday + Sunday (8:30 AM start time) * some Friday evening sessions may not be required depending on course delivery method – please refer to your registration email for exact dates and and times of your in person training.

• • Weekday Courses: 3 x 7-7.5 hour days (8:30 AM start time)

• Prerequisites:
  A valid Remote First Aid certificate is required for registration. You must attend the entire course to receive recertification.
• Updated Field Guide:
  The Canadian Red Cross made significant updates to the Field Guide in 2020. During the course, you’ll receive the most current edition to ensure you’re practicing the latest procedures.
